MobiChimp is proud to announce the release of their first two Palm Pre application to the Plam catalog.

1. Bogus Call – With this application the user can set up his/her Palm Pre to call them at a predetermined time from anyone in their contact list.  Don’t worry it’s not an actual call, it just looks like one.  Once the phone rings, the user can either answer it or press the ignore button.  If you choose the ignore button, Bogus Call will call back in 15 seconds further stressing that this call may be important.  This application is getting rave reviews and is proving to be useful in all types of situations, meetings, dates, lame parties, family dinners, etc. etc.

2. My Loaned Items – With this application the user will be able to keep track of everything you’ve loaned to friends and family and send out automatic reminders to return your stuff.  From the reviews we are seeing, people really like the ability to log all stuff that they loan out as well as money that is owed to them from people.  The auto-reminder is a great way to remind the person that they need to return or pay back what they owe you.

MobiChimp has two more applications dropping into the Palm Catalog very soon and will keep on developing creative and useful applications for your smartphones.
